Scottish recycling and waste management company Changeworks Recycling has changed its name to Change Waste Recycling. The new name reflects the company’s long held mission to promote change in the recycling industry, shifting the way waste and recycling is viewed, prioritising high quality source segregated collections over traditional dry mixed recycling.
The Scottish based company, which provides recycling and waste management services to businesses across the UK announced that it will now be known as Change Waste Recycling. Prompted by the sale of the business by environmental charity Changeworks to Forbes Connor, the name change is effective from Wednesday 10th May 2023.
Since 2001, Change Waste Recycling has become a highly successful recycling and waste management company, supporting clients to segregate their waste and recycling materials so they can be collected separately, thus ensuring optimal capture of high quality recycling. This unique approach has enabled over 2,500 businesses to reduce waste, carbon and costs and achieve high quality recycling.
“Changing our name reflects our mission to influence the waste industry in Scotland to enable businesses to recycle in a way that ensures the majority of waste is recycled. We partner with the businesses we service to support them to Change Waste to Recycling as part of our journey to a net zero carbon economy. We’ve been active in the Scottish waste industry for over 20 years and this name change will help expand our presence across the UK”. said Forbes Connor, CEO.
